Clearwater Plumbing & Gas delivered the below-ground and hydraulic services for Norship’s new 400-tonne ship maintenance shed in North Queensland, the first of its kind in the region.
Our scope included the below-ground sewer pump station, an oil waste separator for grease and chemical washdown, and a boosted fire system supporting attack fire hydrants and independent boat fire protection systems.
We also installed ring mains for fire and washdown hose reels, along with safety showers and eyewash stations, and in-ground civil stormwater systems.
The facility will provide specialist maintenance services for Guardian and Cape class patrol boats, as well as the Reef tourism fleet and Gulf fishing vessels. This project demonstrates Clearwater’s capability to deliver complex civil and hydraulic systems for large-scale, high-specification industrial projects.
